"Twenty five years ago everyone believed that having a child with the diagnosis of cancer was the worst thing that could happen to a family, and that is still true. Except now there are many young adults who have been cured of cancer as children, and medical science is continuing to work to improve the odds for every child and adolescent who has to deal with the necessary treatment.  Pediatric oncologists are working to make the lives of all young adults who have survived cancer long and fruitful, and this Foundation, Running through Walls, INC. will provide critical resources to help us do that"
